The No Nation Films Fellowship Award @ DOK Leipzig 2026 goes to Who We Are (WT), the debut feature documentary by Sophie Ataya, produced by Seera Films with Marion Schmidt and Thomas Kaske.

The film explores the erasure of Palestinian identity in Germany. It was selected for the 22nd DOK Co-Pro Market, where the award was presented.

The Fellowship provides a six-month programme of mentorship and consultancy for documentary film teams working under vulnerable circumstances, tailored to the needs of the project in development or production.

We are proud to continue our collaboration with DOK Leipzig for a second year and to welcome Sophie, Marion and Thomas to the Fellowship.
