✦ No Nation Films Atelier — July 2025 Update
After nearly eight years leading IDFA, Orwa Nyrabia has returned to Berlin and to No Nation Films Atelier — the boutique documentary house he co-founded with Diana El Jeiroudi. While Orwa is currently taking time for rest and creative reflection, and will not resume production or managerial responsibilities till end of year.

Introducing Fan Yang and Yiqian Zhang: The Fellowship
Meet our incoming Fellows Fan Yang and Yiqian Zhang, who joined the cohort of the No Nation Film’s Fellowship in May 2025, after participating in the Docs By The Sea Storytelling Lab in 2024. Fan and Yiqian are the director and the producer of ‘Chunyu: A Death Foretold’, a feature-length documentary film about a personal reckoning as the director returns to her rural hometown amidst her grandmother’s illness.
